Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has denied any links with any of the convicts in the 2008 Ahmedabad serial blasts which claimed 56 lives and injured over 200.
Dismissing the allegations as baseless, Akhilesh Yadav told India Today, "I have been saying for many days now that if there is anyone who lies, it is the BJP. BJP leaders say nothing other than lies."
Earlier, Union minister Anurag Thakur showed a photograph in which the father of one of the convicted in the Ahmedabad blasts was seen with SP chief Akhilesh Yadav to allege that the Samajwadi Party has "connections" with the Ahmedabad blasts perpetrators.
