Polling for the urban civic polls in Tamil Nadu began at 7 am today amid tight security. Keeping in mind the convenience of the differently-abled voters, ramps have also been made for them. It is worth noting that these elections, to be held in one phase, are being conducted in the state after 11 years.

तमिलनाडु में शहरी निकाय चुनावों के लिए आज कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच मतदान सुबह सात बजे से शुरू हो गया। दिव्यांग मतदाताओं की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए उनके लिए रैंप भी बनाए गए हैं। गौरतलब है कि एक फेज में होने वाले इन चुनाव को राज्य में 11 साल बाद कराया जा रहा है
