The head of the Children's Embassy "Megjashi", Dragi Zmijanac, commenting on the scandalous case of inappropriate sexual activities of minors in a reconnaissance camp, published by "Free Press", says that it is obviously child abuse and that the organizers must be called of responsibility.

- We know what scouting is, we have all been, to set up tents, to strengthen the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people, to camp, but this is really worrying. There must be no amnesty from responsibility, said Zmijanac in tonight's guest appearance on Sitel TV.

The case with the camp, organized by the First Skopje Scout Detachment last week, was revealed by "Free Press", broadcasting parental testimony of a girl who sought help from a psychologist due to the trauma of the scandalous activity organized for 16-year-old participants. According to the testimonies of children, who in the meantime were confirmed by other parents, activities included dyeing the genitals, taking off clothes and asking how many sexual partners the children had. The whole event was packaged as a competition, so all the activities brought appropriate points, with the activities where the children took off most of the clothes were more valued and scored.

After two days of silence, today the organizers of the reconnaissance camp also announced, which said in a statement that the event, called "Sex, Scouts and Rock 'n' Roll" was "no manifestation of immorality, fornication or sexual harassment", and that the activities had been misinterpreted by the public.

Zmijanac encourages whistleblowers to be in large numbers, because, according to him, this massive abuse of children must not go unpunished.

- I appeal to the parents in the future not to give consent, to ask for an agenda for the events and meeting with the organizers, to be very mobile and in direct contact with the children, said Zmijanac in his visit to Sitel and added that with pressure from the media and the children's embassy, a fair decision will be made.

"We demand responsibility from the Public Prosecutor and the Ministry of Interior and we appeal to the affected children to call our operators to give them first psychological help." he added.
