Nayagarh: 17/02/2022 (Reporting by Rabindra Kumar Sahu): Hundreds of farmers gather on the state highway near Odgaon block headquarters in Nayagarh district for the sale of paddy. Protests on the streets Vehicles were parked on both sides of the road As a result, many locals are watching the rising river, remembering the catastrophic floods.
On hearing the news, Odgaon Tahsildar winner Samanta Singhar and Odgaon Adarsh Thana IIC Purna Chandra Patayat reached the spot and closed the roadblock to control the traffic congestion.
Farmers have warned that if the paddy is not removed from the mandi within three days, they will return to the highway.
