In the IPL auction held on February 12 and 13, Indian star batsman Shreyas Iyer was made a part of his team by paying a huge amount of Rs 12.25 crore to the Kolkata Knight Riders ie KKR team. But now KKR has also decided on Iyer's future in the team. On Wednesday evening, KKR made it completely clear that Shreyas Iyer will be the new captain of the KKR franchise. It was being discussed for a long time that KKR need a player whom they can appoint as their captain.

12 और 13 फरवरी को आयोजत आई.पी.एल ऑक्शन में भारतीय स्टार बल्लेबाज श्रेयस अय्यर को कोलकाता नाईट राइडर्स यानी की KKR की टीम ने 12.25 करोड़ रुपये भारी रकम दे कर अपनी टीम का हिस्सा बनाया। लेकिन अब KKR ने अय्यर के टीम में भविष्य का भी फैसला कर दिया है। बुधवार शाम को KKR पूर्ण रूप से यह स्पष्ट किया की श्रेयस अय्यर ही KKR फ्रेंचाइज के नए कप्तान होंगे। यह चर्चा काफी लम्बे समय से की जा रही थी की KKR को एक ऐसा खिलाड़ी चाहिए जिसे वह अपना कप्तान निर्धारित कर सके।
