Queen takes on first official engagements since Covid scare

She held two virtual audiences by video link from Windsor Castle with the Estonian and Spanish ambassadors. Wearing a floral dress, the 95-year-old appeared well in images viewed by the ambassadors at Buckingham Palace. The engagements will have eased fears after it was revealed the monarch had met Prince Charles, 73, two days before he tested positive for Covid. The Duchess of Cornwall, 74, has since contracted the virus. Buckingham Palace declined to say if the Queen had contracted Covid when concern mounted last Thursday.
