Hijab showdown: Violence erupts in Bengal, locals attack school in Murshidabad

The ongoing Hijab controversy has spread from Karnataka to West Bengal, after a school principal allegedly asked a student not to wear a Hijab inside the school grounds.

According to sources, the incident occurred in the Suti area of West Bengal's Murshidabad district, where Bahutali High School's Principal Dinbandhu Mitra asked the student not to wear a Hijab.

Locals then staged a protest in front of the school and set up a blockade.
