Rahul Bajaj, former chairman of the Bajaj group, died on Saturday at the age of 83 at his home in Pune due to illness.

In an interview with India Today in 2016, Rahul Bajaj and his son Sanjiv discussed how they built their empire, their family's role in the freedom struggle, and their future plans.

"If you don't have the passion, the fire in your belly, you are not going to reach the top," he said, quoting Aamir Khan's film '3 Idiots.'
