कर्नाटक सरकार के ड्रेस वाले फैसले को लेकर विवाद पिछले महीने जनवरी में तब शुरू हुआ था, जब उडुपी के एक सरकारी कॉलेज में 6 छात्राओं ने हिजाब पहनकर कॉलेज में एंट्री ली थी. विवाद इस बात को लेकर था कि कॉलेज प्रशासन ने छात्राओं को हिजाब पहनने के लिए मना किया था, लेकिन वो फिर भी पहनकर आ गई थीं. वंही अब ये हिजाब विवाद अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहुंच गया है. मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड के फ्रांसीसी फुटबॉलर पॉल पोग्बा भी अब इस विवाद में कूद पड़े हैं.
