Crown Princess Mary donates $50k to heartfelt cause – ‘Something very special’

The Danish royal made the donation as a “thank you” gesture as she celebrated her 50th birthday. The Alannah & Madeline Foundation will receive the donation from The Mary Foundation to support its work in tackling bullying among children in Australia. The Australian-born Princess Mary was particularly inspired by the charity’s Better Buddies programme which inspired her to create her own foundation to tackle bullying in Denmark.
