Students coming in hijab are not being allowed to enter the college, but the girl students are not ready to leave the hijab associating it with their identity. Demonstrations regarding Hijab are taking place not only in Udupi but in many cities of Karnataka. In response to this, some students have started coming wearing Bhagwa.
