The federal government is reversing a highly contentious decision to freeze millions of dollars of funding to the ABC. The move has prompted accusations from Labor that the government is trying to neutralise a political headache ahead of the election. Communications Minister Paul Fletcher says the indexation freeze was an appropriate decision at the time.
