In Karnataka, the issue of banning the wearing of hijab by Muslim college girls is gaining momentum. After the ban on wearing of hijab for Muslim girls in two colleges in Udapi, there is a continuous protest. Some Muslim girls are allowed to enter the class wearing hijab. Meanwhile, in Kundapur, a group of students wearing saffron scarves in their uniforms reached outside the college and marched with slogans of Jai Shri Ram.These students demanded that if hijab-wearing girls are allowed to enter the class, then they should also be allowed to enter the class wearing saffron scarves. After the information, the police who reached the spot immediately removed them from there.

कर्नाटक में मुस्लिम कॉलेज छात्राओं के हिजाब पहनने पर बैन लगाने का मामला तूल पकड़ता जा रहा है.उड़पी में दो कालेजों में मुस्लिम लड़कियों के हिजाब पहनने पर बैन लगने के बाद से लगातार विरोध जारी है.कुछ मुस्लिम लड़कियां हिजाब पहनकर क्लास में प्रवेश की इजाजत मांग रही हैं.इसी बीच स्टूडेंट्स का एक समूह कुंडापुर में अपनी यूनिफॉर्म पर भगवा स्कॉर्फ पहनकर कॉलेज के बाहर तक पहुंचा और जय श्रीराम के नारे लगाते हुए मार्च किया.इन स्टूडेंट्स ने मांग रखी कि यदि हिजाब पहनने वाली लड़कियों को क्लास में आने की अनुमति दी जाती है तो उन्हें भी भगवा स्कार्फ पहनकर क्लास में प्रवेश की अनुमति मिलनी चाहिए. सूचना के बाद मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने तुरंत उन्हे वहां से हटा दिया.
