Whats special in museum decorated with antiques for Umrah pilgrims? I tell you about Museum made by Majid Al-Sahli, a Saudi citizen. It is the museum of antiquities for Umrah pilgrims. In ancient times, Umrah pilgrims used to come to Saudi Arabia in caravans. They also had pots. He has collected the items of caravan of Umrah pilgrims they used during the journey and they are all safe. About 24 years of Umrah have been spent in collecting the artefacts of the pilgrims. Relics of Umrah pilgrims over 70 years old are preserved. The luggage of the Umrah pilgrims is not unusual but it is important as it relates to the journey of Umrah. In the past, Umrah pilgrims used to bring special vessels for storing and carrying Zamzam. The utensils used for Zamzam here 145 years ago were known as 'Al-Dawariq', 'Al-Sharbat', 'Al-Dhafa', 'Al-Taramus', 'Al-Zamzamiyat'. In those days, wooden fridges, wooden cups and leather cups were also used to offer Zamzam to the pilgrims. The luggage of the camel caravan of Umrah pilgrims is also safe. The museum also has a variety of handkerchiefs. For example, during the reigns of Shah Khalid, Shah Faisal and Shah Saud, Umrah pilgrims used to wear special handkerchiefs on their heads which had a map of Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat. Similarly, there was a toy in the shape of a camera. It used to have a movie chip and a paper disk with pictures of Masjid Al Haram and Masjid Nabavi. The site of Ibrahim, the Black Stone and the Kaaba could be seen in it. There are so many other things also. Hope you would like to see all these.
