Fish fillets ½ kg
Lemon juice 1⁄4 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Ginger (chopped) 2 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 6 cloves
Green onions (chopped) 3
Onion powder 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Cayenne pepper 1⁄2 tsp
Lemon to garnish
Parsley (chopped) to garnish
For Turmeric potatoes:

Baby potatoes ½ kg
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Ground black pepper as required
Garlic (minced) 2 cloves
Peas (boiled) ½ cup
onion (sliced) 1
Parsley (chopped) handful
Combine lemon juice, soya sauce, oil, ginger, garlic, green onions, minced onion, paprika and cayenne pepper and stir to mix well. Marinate fish in it in the refrigerator for about 1 to 2 hours. Grill fish for 4 minutes on each side. Flip the fish only once and brush with reserved marinade.
For turmeric potatoes clean the potatoes well and half steam or boil, remove from heat and let cool a little. Add olive oil, turmeric, pepper and garlic and toss to coat. Arrange evenly on a baking tray and roast for about 30 minutes or till done. Once potatoes have cooked, add the onion, peas and parsley. Serve with the fish.




Unsalted butter 2 tbsp
Icing sugar 1/3 cup
Chocolate (chopped) 2 oz
Egg 1
Egg yolk 1
Coffee powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 Pinch

Flour 3 tbsp


Butter two ramekins, and then dust with sugar. Melt butter and chocolate. Let cool slightly.
Beat egg, egg yolk, sugar, coffee powder and salt. Add chocolate mixture; whisk to combine. Add flour, and mix just until combined but do not over mix. Pour batter into prepared ramekins. (Recipe can be made ahead up to this point). Bake at 180 degrees C until a toothpick inserted 1/2 inch from edge of ramekins comes out clean, and a toothpick inserted in center comes out wet, 10 to 12 minutes (do not over bake). Cool 10 minutes on a wire rack. Run a knife around inside of ramekins to loosen. Invert cakes onto serving plates. Dust with sugar; serve immediately.
