Israel approves a new plan to build some 15-hundred new settlement units in occupied al-Quds.

The land already annexed for the project is located between the French Hill and the Hebrew University of al-Quds. The project includes construction of 500 rooms for Israeli students, 200 fortified rooms, several residential towers and public buildings. Since the beginning of this year, Israeli authorities have approved four settlement expansion projects. That includes a plan to expand the Hebrew University. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law. But Israel has been pushing ahead with its plans in defiance of international calls to stop them.
