Queen's 'favourite' Sophie represents Firm abroad on very important military trip

Following her visit to Qatar at the beginning of the year, Sophie has now travelled to the stunning French Alp ski resort Meribel to cheer on participants in the Inter-Services Snow Sports Championships. The 57-year-old royal has been photographed wearing a black padded jacket, white striped trousers and wearing ski goggles as she presented medals at the Boarder Cross event at the French resort. The royal also attended the opening ceremony on Sunday, the court circular revealed. The Countess of Wessex later attended a Dinner at Hôtel l’Eterlou.
