Rajma Biryani

Ingredients:
Rice (half boiled) 1- 1/2 cup
Cooked red kidney beans 2 cup
Carrot, cubed 2
Oil 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Cloves 3-4
Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder 1½ tbsp
Tomatoes chopped 3
Salt to taste
Green chilies chopped 2-3
Coriander leaves chopped as required

Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. When they begin to crackle, add chopped onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add carrots,

chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add ginger-garlic

paste and sauté well. Add tomatoes and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add cooked beans, salt and mix well. Cook covered for 2

minutes.
Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Turn off the heat. Take a pot. Spread a layer of half the parboiled rice and cooked

beans gravy Put dum for 15 minutes.
Serve.

Bihari Pasanday

Ingredients:
Meat Strips ½ kg
Lemons 2
Yogurt ½ cup
Crushed Black pepper 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder ½ tsp
Ginger Powder 2 tbsp
Raw Papaya Powder 2 tbsp
Mustard Oil as required
Salt to taste
All spices powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Grinded onion 1
Onion, lemon, mint for garnishing

Method:
Hammer ½ kg beef pasanda.Marinate it in ½ cup yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp raw papaya paste and some salt.Roast

and crush 1 tbsp coriander seeds,1 tsp black cumin, 1 tsp white cumin, 4 big cardamom, 4 small cardamom, 2 tbsp black

chickpeas, 6 black peppercorn and 6 whole red chilies. Add the crushed spice on the beef pasanday and add in lemon juice, 1

bunch mint leaves, 4 green chilies, All spices powder, Coriander powder, Grinded onion, Grinded onion.Take ½ cup oil in the

karahi and add in 1 chopped onion. fry it till they are golden brown.Cook the pasanday, when the water dries add in 1 tbsp

oil/ clarified butter. Cook it for further 5-10 minutes. Serve.
