Fears NSW Blue Mountains could lose world heritage status

Scientific advisors to the UN say plans by the NSW government to raise Warragamba dam could be in breach of the world heritage convention. The raised dam wall would help protect Western Sydney by inundating thousands of hectares of bushland in the Blue Mountains world heritage area.
