For the last two years, the country and the world is battling with the corona virus infection. Amidst the third wave of corona, booster doses have also started in India. Along with this, trials of many vaccines are also going on. This also includes the nasal vaccine. Recently, the government has approved Bharat Biotech's Phase III trial of its intranasal Covid-19 vaccine as a booster dose. Meanwhile, Dr Sanjay Rai, Senior Epidemiologist of AIIMS Delhi has said about the nasal vaccine that if it provides mucosal immunity during the trial, then it will be a big success.

पिछले दो साल से देश औऱ दुनिया कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण से जूझ रही है. कोरोना की तीसरी लहर के बीच भारत में बूस्टर डोज भी लगनी शुरु हो गई है। इसके साथ-साथ कई टीकों का ट्रायल भी चल रहा है। इसमें नजल वैक्सीन भी शामिल है। हाल ही में भारत बायोटेक को बूस्टर डोज के रूप में उसके इंट्रानैजल कोविड-19 वैक्सीन के तीसरे चरण के ट्रायल को सरकार ने मंजूरी दी है। इस बीच दिल्ली एम्स के सीनियर महामारी विशेषज्ञ डॉ संजय राय ने नाक से देने वाले टीके को लेकर कहा है कि ट्रायल के दौरान अगर यह म्यूकोसल इम्युनिटी प्रदान करती है तो यह एक बड़ी कामयाबी होगी
