The Black & Decker Workmate is a great tool for doing wood and metal works in a very flexible and mobile setting. For smaller metal parts the workmate clamping is not ideal. Therefore a homemade add-on is made to have a very easy and robust metal vice attached to the workmate.
In this video I explain why I still use the Workmate a lot even though other workbenches are available in the work shop. The making of the home made add-on is demonstrated and the advantages compared to a clamp on device is explained and illustrated.
