Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Defence Minister Union Minister Rajnath Singh on January 30 asserted that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has no stains of corruption. “This election is not just about forming a new Government, also about scripting the destiny of Uttar Pradesh. BJP Governments in Centre and UP have done a splendid job. There is no charge of corruption against our Governments. It is not a small feat,” said Rajnath Singh. The minister lauded the work of the BJP in the state at the Prabhavi Matdata Samvad event organised at UP’s Kasganj. Uttar Pradesh elections will be held in seven phases on February 10,14, 20, 23, 27 and on March 3 and 7, 2022.
