BJP releases Odisha Panchayat Poll manifesto

The Odisha State Bharatiya Janata Party has released its manifesto for the forthcoming Panchayat elections in Bhubaneswar on January 29, promising various development schemes to rural people. The manifesto stressed empowering panchayats, sarpanches and ward members.“The police stations operate according to the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader, therefore no justice is given to the victims. The BJP will work at the grassroots level,” said Thakur Ranjit Das, Spokesperson, BJP Odisha. Das also said that if BJP voted to power then his government will work towards eliminating corruption at all levels.
