Union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on January 24 said that a target of $300 bn electronics production has been set. “We have already reached a very good level of electronics manufacturing; today we have around 5.5 lakh crores of electronics manufacturing in the country. This was unthinkable a few years back,” Vaishnaw said.
