Ahead of the Punjab elections, the political tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress has been intensified. The Aam Aadmi Party is making the recent ED raids against the sand mafia a big issue. The Aam Aadmi Party alleges that the sand mafia is a relative of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and illegal sand mining is going on in Punjab at the behest of him.
