India reports over 3.37 lakh fresh Covid cases, 2.8% lower than yesterday

India reported 3,37,704 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, 2.8 per cent lower than yesterday. As many as 488 people succumbed to the infection during the same period, taking the total death toll to 4,88,884. The tally of Omicron cases surged to 10,050, while the daily test positivity rate stood at 17.22 per cent.
