The import tariff is expected to be reduced from 12.5 per cent to 7.5 per cent in the budget to be introduced on February 1. According to bullion market experts, if the import duty on gold is reduced, gold prices will fall sharply.

బంగారం కొనాలనుకునే వారికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం గుడ్ న్యూస్ చెప్పబోతుంది. ఫిబ్రవరి 1న ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్న బడ్జెట్‌లో దిగుమతి సుంకాన్ని 12.5 శాతం నుండి 7.5 శాతానికి తగ్గించవచ్చునని భావిస్తున్నారు. అంటే నాలుగు శాతం తగ్గించవచ్చు.బంగారంపై దిగుమతి సుంకం తగ్గితే, బంగారం ధరలు భారీగా దిగి వస్తాయని బులియన్ మార్కెట్ నిపుణులు చెబుతున్నారు.
