Covid cases spiked across the world and especially in United States due to highly infectious Omicron and partly due to mismanagement. Hospitals are under immense strain as the country reported 18,000 deaths per day due to Covid. The number of cases doubled in two days due to Omicron mainly affecting unvaccinated children.
