The decision of the couple, who have two sons, Yatra and Linga, comes as a bolt from the blue to the film industry and also left their fans in shock & heartbroken. Many social media users are sharing pictures of the former couple from the archives which indicate happier times, calling the separation 'unexpected & shocking'. Meanwhile a throwback video of Dhanush going gaga over Aishwaryaa is going viral on the internet. In the video, Dhanush can be seen singing for Aishwaryaa at a party. The former couple is surrounded by friends and Dhanush dedicates a song to his wife. He then walks towards Aishwarya and wraps her in his arms. All this while, Aishwaryaa is seen blushing.
