Bolton Bridge in Davao City remains closed to traffic after fire incident

Pedestrians walk across the Bolton Bridge along Quimpo Blvd. in Davao as this remains closed to traffic following a fire on several houses of informal settlers living under the bridge.

The DPWH has recommended indefinite closure of the southbound bridge as they are also set to conduct more testing on the steel girder of the bridge.

Authorities also prohibit even pedestrians from passing the southbound bridge for safety reasons. (MB Video by Keith Bacongco)
