This comes after Yediyurappa was sworn-in as the Chief Minister for the fourth term on July 26. The 14-month-old Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government headed by HD Kumaraswamy had collapsed on July 23 after losing the vote of confidence in the Assembly in a climax to the three-week long intense power struggle.
