आज सिख धर्म के 10वें गुरु, महान योद्धा, कवि और आध्यात्मिक गुरु गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी की जयंती (Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti) मनाई जा रही है। गुरु गोबिंद सिंह की जयंती के मौके पर सिख धर्म के लोग प्रकाश पर्व (Prakash Parv) के तौर पर मनाते हैं। इस मौके पर अमृतसर (Amritsar) के गोल्डन टेंपल (Golden Temple) में भारी भीड़ उमड़ी। कड़ाके की ठंड में गुरुद्वारा में श्रद्धालु पहुंच रहे हैं और मत्था टेककर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर रहे हैं।
