Today i.e. on 9th January Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is celebrated. To mark the contribution of overseas Indians in the development of India, 'Pravasi Bharatiya Divas' is organized every year on 9 January. On this occasion, there are different programs in the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Embassies in different countries.

आज यानि की 9 जनवरी को प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस मनाया जाता है. भारत के विकास में प्रवासी भारतीयों के योगदान को चिह्नित करने के लिये हरसाल 9 जनवरी को ‘प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस’ का आयोजन होता है. इस अवसर पर विदेश मंत्रालय और विभिन्न देशों में मौजूद भारतीय दूतावासों में अलग-अलग कार्यक्रम होते हैं.
