Delhi witnessed a fall in temperature, the mercury got dropped due to incessant rains. It is raining heavily in Delhi NCR since midnight. Consequently, Waterlogging is witnessed in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain even today in Delhi and its adjacent areas. Due to rain, the mercury has dropped and cold waves have been increased, although there is some relief in pollution. While there is heavy snowfall on the mountains, the rain has wreaked havoc in the plains. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.
