Former Congress President of Uttarakhand Kishor Upadhyay reached the flat of BJP's state general secretary organization Ajay Kumar late at night. It is being said that BJP's election in-charge and Union Minister Prahlad Joshi was also present there. So the media tried to stop him and talk. Journalists asked him whether this meeting did not mean that he was joining the BJP. But Kishor Upadhyay refused to comment on these questions.

उत्तराखंड के पूर्व कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष किशोर उपाध्याय देर रात को बीजेपी के प्रदेश महामंत्री संगठन अजेय कुमार के फ्लैट पर पहुंचे.कहा जा रहा है कि बीजेपी के चुनाव प्रभारी और केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रहलाद जोशीभी उस समय वहां मौजूद थे.जब उपाध्याय देर रात फ्लैट से बाहर निकले तो मीडिया ने उनको रोककर बातचीत की कोशिश की.पत्रकारों ने उनसे पूछा कि इस मुलाकात के ये मायने तो नहीं कि वे बीजेपी में शामिल हो रहे हैं.लेकिन किशोर उपाध्याय ने इन सवालों पर कोई भी टिप्पणी करने से इनकार कर दिया.
