The special investigation team (SIT) that was probing the incident of Lakhimpur Kheri, in which 8 people were killed, including 4 farmers and a journalist, has submitted a 5000-page charge sheet to a local court. The charge sheet was brought to the court of a chief judicial magistrate in Lakhimpur town.
