Maharashtra reported 11,877 new Covid-19 cases. The state reported 29 per cent rise in cases as compared to cases recorded on the previous day. Mumbai reported 8,063 fresh cases. Maharashtra has reported 510 Covid-19 cases with Omicron variant. This number includes 328 cases from Mumbai. Maharashtra has logged the highest overall cases in the country. Maharashtra has 42,024 actives cases. This number includes 29,819 from Mumbai. Aaditya Thackeray, Maharashtra minister, said BMC is now adding the number of asymptomatic patients, oxygen-supported beds, hospital beds being occupied to the daily bulletin.
