Due to the stampede at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, 12 devotees have died and 13 injured. The accident happened around 2.45 pm. According to the police, the accident took place after an argument and scuffle between two devotees. PM Modi expressed grief over the accident by tweeting and he directed all possible medical facilities for the injured. An inquiry committee has been formed on the Vaishno Devi accident.
