Amidst strong protests in Nagaland, the controversial Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) has been extended for 6 months. In this law, the security forces have the right to conduct operations without warrant and make arrests of anyone. Under this law If the security forces shoot anyone, then they have got immunity under this law.

नागालैंड में कड़े विरोध के बीच विवादास्पद सशस्त्र बल विशेष अधिकार कानून AFSPA को 6 महीनों के लिए बढ़ा दिया गया है.इस में कानून सुरक्षा बलों को बिना वारंट के अभियान चलाने और किसी की भी गिरफ्तारी करने का अधिकार मिला हुआ है.इस कानून के तहत यदि सुरक्षा बल किसी को गोली भी मारते हैं तो इसी कानून के तहत उन्हे प्रतिरक्षा भी मिली हुई है.
