Uluru motel mass murderer eligible for parole next year

It was one of the NT's worst mass murders when Douglas Crabbe ploughed his semi trailer into a crowded bar at Uluru in 1983, leaving five people dead and many other badly wounded. Now after serving nearly forty years in prison, Crabbe could be released on parole as soon as next year. Survivors say they'll be devastated if he's ever allowed into society again.
