How will the full ticket be refunded to the passenger if the flight is canceled?
In case of flight cancellation, the airlines will have to pay full ticket price. If the second flight ticket is expensive, the difference will have to be paid by the airlines. In case flight cancellation is unavoidable, it is the responsibility of the airline to notify the passengers of the flight cancellation prior to departure time. The passenger must be notified of the flight cancellation 24 hours in advance. In case of traveling on another flight within 6 hours from the scheduled time, the passenger will have to refund the full amount of the ticket. Consumer rights protection points out that cancellation rules for international flights are in place and compliance with them is the responsibility of every airline. In case of informing about cancellation of flight seven days or 24 hours in advance, the passenger will have the option to travel on another flight or cancel the ticket within 24 hours. In that case the full price of the ticket will be paid and he will be entitled to 50% compensation. In case of being forced to make a reservation from another airline for local and overseas flights, he will be entitled to arrange an alternative flight within six hours.
