In West Bengal, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee are once again face-to-face. The whole matter is related to the chancellors of all the universities of the state.State Education Minister Bratya Basu says that the state government is contemplating to nominate Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the Chancellor of all the universities of the state and for this the government is also taking legal advice from legal experts. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar had called a meeting of the Vice Chancellors of all the private universities of the state but not a single vice-chancellor had reached this meeting.

पश्चिम बंगाल में राज्यपाल जगदीप धनखड़ और मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी एक बार फिर से आमने-सामने हैं.ताजा मामला है ममता बनर्जी की सरकार की ओर से राज्यपाल की शक्तियों को छीनने का. पूरा मामला जुड़ा है प्रदेश के सभी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलाधिपतियों से.राज्य के शिक्षा मंत्री ब्रत्य बसु का कहना है कि राज्य सरकार प्रदेश के सभी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलाधिपति के रूप में मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी को नामित करने पर विचार कर रही है और इसके लिए सरकार विधि विशेषज्ञों से कानूनी सलाह भी ले रही है.एक दिन पहले ही राज्यपाल जगदीप धनखड़ ने राज्य के सभी निजी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों की बैठक बुलाई थी लेकिन इस बैठक में एक भी कुलपति नहीं पहुंचा था.ऐसे में राज्यपाल ने इस पूरे मामले में कड़ी नाराजगी जाहिर की थी.
