Amid nationwide alarm caused due to Omicron, nationals can breathe a sigh of relief as most of the Omicron cases are stable and are getting discharged without any major complication, informed Dr Suresh Kumar, Medical Director, LNJP Hospital on December 23. “More than 90 per cent of patients admitted here neither have any symptoms nor require any treatment,” said the Medical Director. “Out of the 34 Omicron patients admitted to LNJP hospital in December, 18 have been discharged so far. Everyday 15-18 suspected patients come here from the airport. Every patient is fully vaccinated with 2 who have even taken booster doses in England,” as per Dr Kumar.
