Kangana Ranaut Appears Before Mumbai Police For Calling Protesting Sikh Farmers 'Khalistani'

On December 23, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut appeared before the Mumbai Police. Ranaut appeared before the police in relation to a first information report (FIR), filed against her. The FIR concerns a social media post that allegedly linked farmers' protests to a separatist group, her lawyer said as reported by PTI. Rizwan Sidiquee, Kangana’s lawyer said she reached the police station to record her statement. In their complaint, members of a Sikh organisation alleged that Kangana Ranaut on an Instagram post portrayed farmers' protest on Delhi's borders as a Khalistani movement.
