If the waters are rising, we don't wait, says Armed Forces chief on flood rescue
  • 2 years ago
The Armed Forces will not wait for instructions to save people from floods, said its chief Affendi Buang.

He said this in response to a question about claims that the Armed Forces wanted to act earlier in Selangor when floods hit over the weekend, but could not as they allegedly did not get approval from the National Disaster Management Agency.

Nadma has also denied blocking the Armed Forces from carrying out flood rescue efforts.
