India witnessed a spike in its daily Covid-19 cases on Thursday with a single-day tally surging to 7,495. The new variant of coronavirus Omicron has been registered in more than 13 states. India's total number of Omicron cases in India has risen to around 270 cases, of which 104 have been recovered. The tally increased after 34 new cases were reported in Tamil Nadu. According to the Centre's data, Maharashtra reported 65, Delhi 57, Telangana registered over 50 cases so far. Even the children have been found coronavirus infected in many schools of Bengal and Himachal Pradesh. Watch this video.
