The scheme to link Voter ID with Aadhar card is now in the final stage. On Tuesday, the Election Reform Bill i.e. an important bill for electoral reforms in the country has been passed in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was passed amidst uproar by the opposition. During the passage of the bill, the opposition walked out of the house. Earlier on Monday, its approval was given in the Lok Sabha. Now the election reform bill will be sent for the President's signature.

Voter ID को Aadhar card से जोड़े जाने की योजना अब आखिरी चरण में है. मंगलवार को electoral reforms bill यानी देश में चुनाव सुधार का अहम बिल Rajya Sabha में पास हो गया है. विपक्ष के हंगामे के बीच इस बिल को पारित किया गया. बिल पास होने के दौरान विपक्ष ने सदन से वॉकआउट किया. इससे पहले सोमवार को Lok Sabha में इसकी मंजूरी दी गई. अब इलेक्शन रिफॉर्म के बिल को राष्ट्रपति के दस्तखत के लिए भेजा जाएगा.
