Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) CEO Saurabh Garg on December 16 informed that the Government of India (GoI) has issued around 131 crores of Aadhaar Card so far in the country.

“We launched Aadhaar a decade ago in India. A total of 131 crores Aadhaar Card have been issued so far. Approximately 99 per cent adult population has been enrolled in Aadhaar. Our effort is to enrol newborn babies,” said UIDAI CEO.
