Almost 2000 lorries fined in South Kent for overnight parking
  • 2 years ago
More than a quarter of a million pounds has been raised from clamping nearly 2000 lorries in Kent.

It's been a year since the trial began to ban heavy goods vehicules (HGVs) from parking overnight in various spots on the A20 as council bosses want motorists to use lorry parks instead.

But drivers say the scheme is unfair as there is not enough space for them to park elsewhere in the county.
