Residents in Whitstable say they're fed up, as Southern Water have failed to meet a deadline to close off a combined sewer overflow, going directly out into the sea.

It should have been fixed by the end of November, but they claim it hasn't been done and will be done by the end of December instead.

It comes as South Thanet MP, Craig Mackinlay is calling on the environment agency's budget to be increased, so that they have the proper resources to investigate any failings.
